Who We Are
Landscape Guild was founded by partners, Frank Contey / Landmind and Lisa Mierop / Mierop Design. Lisa and Frank’s combined design/build experience led them to identify a niche for customized landscape care. Using a team of trained Master Gardeners who each care for assigned properties, Landscape Guild offers continuity of service and another layer of customized care.

Different than typical “mow, blow, go” maintenance crews, Landscape Guild team of Master Gardeners brings their education, experience and care to more detailed tasks, as well as troubleshooting general issues before they cause damage or expense to your property.
Our trained horticultural staff monitors areas of your garden that may be otherwise ignored. If you are tired of ’meatball’ pruning, weeding that doesn’t happen, or are looking for creative skills in addition to your standard maintenance services, call on Landscape Guild experts to take your garden to the next level.

Based in Montclair, we service all towns in Essex county.
How It Works
An initial meeting to estimate your needs is followed by weekly, monthly, seasonal or ‘as needed’ visits. There is no contract and fees are based on hourly rates plus costs of materials, brush pick-ups plus any additional services requested: tree surgery, fertilization or pest/disease management. Twice a year or twice a week – it’s always up to you.
